Team

Founded in 2016, Design Build Labs is led by industry veteran, William Robertson, with category-leading expertise in architecture, energy storage, construction and complicated entitlements. Design Build Labs (DBL) is an end-to-end architecture and construction firm known for our versatility and responsiveness based in Los Angeles, CA. DBL specializes in listening, aligning, and balancing what we have heard through our proprietary [LAB] process. We combine your experience with our understanding of commercial structures, occupancy planning, and the energy needs of humanity.

DBL is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the US Green Building Council and is committed to improving the built environment to drive positive change.

    Ismael oversees on-site construction activities and ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. As Superintendent, he coordinates subcontractors, manages daily schedules, and monitors progress to keep projects on track. With a hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail, Ismael plays a critical role in maintaining quality control, meeting deadlines, and fostering a productive job site environment.

    Shannon brings creative vision and technical expertise to each project, guiding the design process from concept through completion. As an Architectural Designer, she develops thoughtful, functional design solutions that align with client goals and project requirements.
